Nicole writes as an expression of her gratefulness for a spared life. In 2023, she had a near fatal ruptured brain aneurysm. During her time of recovery, she was impressed by God to finally unveil her passion and talent for writing. That passion has led to the release of her first book, “More Precious Than Ruby: A Journey to God through Cancer.” She is also committed to bringing awareness to gratefulness through The Grateful Life blog which she shares on various social platforms. 

In addition to writing, Nicole was ordained in Christian ministry in 2019. She is an avid worshipper and liturgical dancer, as well as a teacher and prophetic minister. Nicole has a career in Human Resources in the healthcare industry. She earned a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Michigan and a Bachelors in Economics from Michigan State University. Nicole enjoys travel, reading, and life with her husband and teenage daughter.
