As human beings, we innately desire freedom of choice. We don’t want to be forced, even when it may be for our own good. I think we can all admit that this freedom has led us to both good and bad choices, and both positive and negative outcomes. Despite that, most of us would fight tooth and nail for this freedom. It’s that important. With freedom comes responsibility. We have the opportunity to choose good or bad, blessing or cursing. What we do with that opportunity is up to us. As we come into a season of gratitude and thanksgiving, I encourage you to think about your choices, examine your motives, and consider the impact you have on others. Pause in this season and thoughtfully focus on good!

I am grateful today for the freedom to choose. I choose Good and look forward to sharing goodness with others!
