Have you ever had the utmost desire of your heart simply dissolve right before your eyes? That sinking feeling, the disappointment, the tears. In that moment, you feel that nothing is going to be right again. You’re in a bad place. Hopeless and full of despair. In the valley. Between a rock and a hard place. Pressed on every side.
We’ve probably all been there. But we don’t have to stay there. We don’t have to live in disappointment. We have a Rescuer. When life swings on us, we can parry and thrust with the plans the Lord has for us. I am grateful that I can rely on Him. He faithfully redeems every disappointment.
