It’s the Christ in Christmas for me. While I enjoy the fun of Santa Claus, elves, and reindeer, along with trees, lights, and presents, it’s just that … fun. But when I think about the true joy of Christmas, I think about the Giver of joy. How He’s so personal and individual in the way He relates to us. How He is good, and He desires to do good things for us. How He puts treasures inside of us to help us grow, achieve, and be a blessing to others. I am taken by Him and He is taken by all of us. He is intentional and He loves us eternally.
I am incredibly grateful to be able to celebrate His birth this year.
