Three people are no longer here. One beautiful mother and grandmother who always had a smile and kind word. One pastor at the end of his fight with cancer who spoke of his own victory as he transitioned to be with his Savior. One military man who brought his strong and honorable leadership to Corporate America. I know more than most that life is short and fleeting. I also know that feeling of being spared when others are not. It’s a heavy burden. Yet, it calls me to my purpose; to respond to God’s call. It’s my reasonable response to His gift of life.
I am grateful for these lives, the examples they were, and all they brought to us in living their lives to the fullest.
My prayers are with those who have lost these and other treasured loved ones. Their memories and legacies will live on. Make the most of what they poured into you.
